Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she grew up surrounded by the warmth and simplicity of rural life in Manchester Parish. These early experiences taught her the importance of nurturing young minds, sparking creativity, and cherishing family bonds.

Now living in the United States since 2012, Sonica channels her passion for kids into writing heartfelt books that inspire big dreams and important values. Her stories bring joy, comfort, and life lessons to families—helping parents connect with their children in meaningful ways.

As a mom to her daughter, Jada-Lee, Sonica knows how much love and care parents put into raising happy and confident kids.
